First time here...truly a fine dining experience with authentic Indian cuisine that was super fresh, flavourful with aromatic curries. Great ambience and outstanding service by Kenny at our table of 6 people. For starters, we got the Moga Fried fish, Peshawari Chicken Tikka and Cauliflower 65 - generous serving size and very well prepared dishes. The “Dhaba” lamb curry and the Patiala Masala Chicken stood out for the main dishes we ordered.Not to forget, the Butter Naans and Tandoori Roti came in super fresh. For a group of 6, you could expect to see a tab of around 300 (including 20% gratuity) which is pretty decent for what you get. I’d recommend this place...go try it out!!
Absolutely delicious and inventive. We had an amazing multi course chefs tasting over lunch and waddled out. Beautiful space and fantastic staff too. You should go.
We went here for dinner and it was amazing. I am vegetarian, and my husband is gluten-free, and this restaurant had so many options for us that it was hard to pick. Our server knew the menu like the back of her hand, she answered all of our dietary questions and offered some delicious choices. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Guru to take my team out for dinner and we were thoroughly pleased with the experience. Jasmine who was with us that evening was absolutely delightful. Her attentiveness and demeanour thru the evening deserves five stars in itself. The restaurant is well-maintained, the food was flavourful and authentic, and the waiting times for food were decent. The menu had a variety of options to choose from, and the prices were reasonable for the ambience and overall vibes of the place. We followed the meal with a pot of aromatic milk tea that was very good. I know we'll be back for sure to try more of those delicious dishes. Ample parking is a plus point for sure, not to mention the ease of booking a reservation as well.
Given the amount of awards by the front door, there is very little I can say to add to this restaurant's reputation but agree that Guru is truly deserving of all its awards and acclaim. Our recent dining experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The food was absolutely fantastic as expected, with the Fish Moilee standing out as a highlight. Its gentle, nuanced flavors were perfectly balanced, showcasing why they consider it one of their signature dishes. If you'd like a suggestion, pair it with the coconut basmati rice. It was... divine. Now what I *can* say to add to the awards was that what made our visit even more special were the small, thoughtful touches. For example, we were served complimentary dessert drinks featuring mango puree, yogurt, and a blend of exotic spices that created a unique and delightful flavor profile. When I expressed curiosity about the spices, the mixologist not only explained them in detail but also brought the actual spice blend to our table so we could see and smell it for ourselves—such a wonderful and personal touch! The food was great, service was impeccable, the ambiance was elegant, and the place was spotless, exactly what one would expect from such a place, but the personal treatment made it so much better. You should definitely try!
Manoj and Sushant are the best! Excellent customer service. This is the best Indian restaurant in Edmonton. Butter chicken is to die for!
My friends stopped in for a late lunch. In short, our experience was fantastic. Our server was so welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent. I am a huge fan of cauliflower 65 and theirs here was excellent. The naan basket was sizable and delicious. The samosas, palak paneer, and butter chicken were also very tasty. We all ate too much and have no regrets.
